Carbon Capture Poland

Limiting the increase in global temperature to 1.5 degrees requires a drastic reduction in CO₂ concentration in the atmosphere. Carbon capture technology can reduce carbon emissions, create new business opportunities and make energy systems more resilient. However, the prospect of its implementation and analysis of possible solutions require global cooperation on the way to the green transformation. This especially applies to sectors where decreasing emissions is difficult – therefore large-scale actions are necessary.

CARBON CAPTURE CONGRESS is a meeting place for entities interested in implementing CCUS technology and business solutions for the decarbonization of the economy. This is an opportunity to learn about the latest commercial solutions, expand your contact network and meet industry leaders.

The 3rd Carbon Capture Congress will take place on March 17-18, 2026. On the first day, guests will gather in Katowice for the conference portion. On the second day, a trip to Zabrze is planned, where workshops on CCUS technology will be held at the ITPE headquarters and a study visit to the unique CCT+ research complex located at the ITPE, currently being expanded with a Power-to-X (P2X) installation.

The business meeting is addressed to:

  • representatives of the cement, steel, petrochemical and pulp sectors
  • representatives of the energy, heating and coal industries
  • CCUS technology providers
  • representatives of the State Treasury, the financial sector and government agencies
  • installation contractors
  • CSRD and ESG specialists
