Poland is the 5th producer of wood pellets in Europe. Most of the production is exported abroad, including Italy, and Italian market is very interested for Polish manufacturers.

The potential of the pellet sector from Poland can be assessed at Progetto Fuoco 2020, where for the first time in its history will be created Polish Zone. It will be a joint stand of companies representing Polish wood pellet sector – pellet producers and distributors, suppliers of boilers, pellet stoves and fireplaces, as well as biomass providers.

– Top Polish pellet producers already cooperate with distributors from Italy, but there are also many entrepreneurs who increase their production capacity or introduce new products to the portfolio and want to show themselves at Progetto Fuoco. February fair trade in Verona is a unique opportunity for them – says Jolanta Kamińska from the Biomass Media Group, responsible for the Polish Zone.

Polish pellet market is a dynamically developing sector of the economy. The vast majority of entrepreneurs interested in selling their products to European countries can boast of DINplus and ENplus certificates. Companies are modernizing their production lines and are increasingly beginning to respect quality requirements in all important aspects. That is why Poland is a very interesting trading ground for Italians.

The Polish Zone will be located in pavilion 2 and will be available to visitors from 19 to 22 February.
